How can I insert code from another site and make it work?

I'm trying to display the following code that links to a Bible verse of the day but when you go to the page it just shows what I pasted in, not what it should:

Please set the following property to false:

Editor.EnableStripScriptTags Property

Specifies whether to remove inject script before write the string into the db. When this property is set to true (the default) Cute Editor strips all script elements and script contents from the html.

Tried that but it isn't working. Can you tell me what has to be copied to the remote server (host) when you change a property of the editor? Just the page with the editor on it?

I just open the editor and pasted in this script and it displays like this:

It just shows me what I pasted in. In visual studio I sat the property to false and also did so in the page load event of the editor:

Editor1.EnableStripScriptTags = False

I'm not sure what you need. I have a editor page with the cute editor on it. I load in the searchbible.htm page and paste this script into. I then save the page and open the searchbible.aspx page (which contains this .htm file).

How should I be putting the script in the editor so it shows correctly?

Does the Editor remove your JavaScript?

I just need to know what the problem is.

Can you show me the steps to reproduce it in the following example?

On that demo page it says to type in that script example in the "code view" I'm not sure what the code view is unless it is the Html tab at the bottom. Even then, when I switch to preview it is blank.

What is the proper way to make the demo execute the script? Do you type it in using the "Normal" view (tab at bottom of editor)?

When your code contains JavaScript, Cute Editor will protect this javaScript. It will not be executed unless you click the submit/save button.

So, on the demo, if I enter the test script in, what do I do to make the alert pop up? I dont' see a submit button and pressing the Save icon on the editor doesnt' do it either.

When your code contains JavaScript, Cute Editor will protect this javaScript. It will not be executed in Cute Editor.

However your JavaScript is well protected by Cute Editor. When you extract the code from editor and put this code into your page, it will function normally.
