Error message prompted when inserting photo, flash, media, document

When i try to insert the photo, flash, media, document.

It will prompt out a error message "Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a004c' ".

But when i try to insert photo, flash, media, document, it is find a work well in the local host.

This just happen when i upload the cute editor to the server for testing.

I have another question, can we use variable in the config file which is the default.config.

<security name="MediaGalleryPath">/prototype/abc/admin/FileStorage/[variable]</security>
<security name="FlashGalleryPath">/prototype/abc/admin/FileStorage/[variable]</security>

<security name="FilesGalleryPath">/prototype/abc/admin/FileStorage/[variable]</security>

As we cannot hard code the path for every storage folder for every user.

I hope you can help me to solve these problems.

Please check the ImageGalleryPath property. Make sure the URL path of the Image Gallery exists.

Variables are not supported in configuration files.

You need to use the folllowing properties:

ImageGalleryPath

MediaGalleryPath

FlashGalleryPath

TemplateGalleryPath

FilesGalleryPath

Sir,

Any alternative solution to enable the ImageGalleryPath in the configuration file to accept variable.

For example:

As User A login he can browse the Image Gallery in folder A. However, User B login he can browse the Image Gallery in folder B.

Our existing system is using Cutesoft Editor ver. 3 which is running like this. We hope this feature can apply in the ver. 6 for us to do upgrade.

I tried to copy the entire folder from my prototype server 1 to server 2. It displayed below error message.

Please advice...

It's very strange.

Have you modified this file? Will you work if you use the examples included in the download package?

I've a problem similar to these ones.

When working on localhost I've no problem.

When working on release server I ALWAYS receive this error message back from the browser every time I try to upload any kind of file:

Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a0005'

Invalid procedure call or argument

/CuteEditor_Files/Dialogs/include_upload.asp, line 127

Then I find a file with the correct name but it is smaller than the locally-selected one and, obviously, corrupted.

Folder paths and permission were checked more than twice and are surely correct (anyway we cannot create any file in that, the right, folder).

Please check it.

Done by myself... again.

For all you non-american friends, the bug exists and it's not on your server/pc.

I have the same problem since I've installed latest version (with the youTube version)

Also have a problem with all text in the dialog boxes when "french" version is on, all special characters are not showing (é à ç è)

I'm going back to previous version for now...

Hope Adam will find the bug soon!
