ASP Uploader needs read/write permission to the system temp folder

Hi,

We have got error on temprory directory - which mean virtual directory right??

How we could solve this issue..can we change the directory path beacuse we have got the error message

"Error : Microsoft JScript runtime error '800a139e'

ASP Uploader needs read/write permission to the system temp folder. If your host doesn't allow such access, you can specify a different path using TempDirectory property. at function Ox33

/apanel/Webworld_Publish/Dialogs/aspuploader/resources/coreimpl.js, line 1 "

where we change temp directory property....is this GOOD OPTION FOR all sites and servers? or can we communicate with host company for this.

We have got this error in our few sites not all.

please let us know quick clarification/solution to fix it.

Please open upload_handler.asp and set up TempDirectory folder.

After line 135, please add the following code:

Uploader.TempDirectory ="/mytempfolder"

Sorry.. Adam..!

Still, i get the same error.

please let me what else i do..i even try with my HOST providers..and i requested then to give FULL permission..they gave/grand full permission.

Are you sure TempDirectory is pointed to the correct location and the target folder does exist?

Uploader.TempDirectory ="/mytempfolder"

YES, actually i have direct it to UPLOADS directory. it has all permissions.

Is your site online? If so, is that possible for you to set up FTP access so we can check it?

I have the same problem and that solution doesn't fix it either.

Have you tried the following solution?
