auto resize uploaded images doesn't work

Hi,

I'm trying to set a restriction on the images being uploaded to my forums. I want to set it to 200x200px. I've dived into the security config files and changed the constraints on MaxImageWidth and MaxImageHeight to 200 respectively. I've also made sure that AutoResizeUploadedImages is "true"

i've set these config settings but it still doesn't work...the images are not being resized and are still huge (pushing my tables out...i can fix the table size but the image will look really weird since it'll just be part of it)

I did a test. It should work.

Please note that by default Cute Editor will use this security file (CuteSoft_Client\CuteEditor\Configuration\Security\Default.config).

thanks for the reply...this is currently what i have in my Default.config file:

    <security name="RestrictUploadedImageDimension">true</security>
   <security name="OverWriteExistingUploadedFile">false</security>
   <security name="UseTimeStampRenameUploadedFiles">false</security>
   <security name="AutoResizeUploadedImages">true</security>
   <security name="MaxImageWidth">200</security>
   <security name="MaxImageHeight">200</security>
   <security name="MaxImageSize">200</security>

is there another setting i have to manipulate before this actually works?

No other settings.

Can you check the uploaded image dimensions?

Hi Adam,

the image size is 800x600 found here:

http://www.wayfaring.info/wp-content/uploads/2008/06/paradise_island_bahamas1.jpg

and it doesn't resize...i'm assuming it does the resize after using the URL redirect for the picture and the image should be resized in the textbox area before posting

hmm i'm starting to think this is a different version...do the older versions have this problem?
